Here's How to Prepare for the Exam Correctly

Thesis :

How do you study when the exam comes? Do you start preparing for the exam weeks or months before the exam or leave it all to the last hour? If you start studying weeks or months before the exam, that's great. However, if you learn all the material in the last hour or minute, it's not good for you. This is called cramming.

Cramming is when students stay up until the morning to study before an exam or complete an assignment. This habit can have a negative impact, the first is that disturbances in the regular sleep cycle can cause temporary intellectual deviations. For most students, lack of sleep can make them unable to focus in class. In addition, cramming can leave us with memory lapses as well.

Argument:

Everyone has a different sleep schedule, so some of them often use stimulants for cramming. An example of a stimulant, and the most common, is coffee. While tasty and beneficial, it causes many problems in the long run such as Caffeine Intoxication Syndrome, anxiety, panic and headaches.

Conclusion:

In short, cramming is not recommended as it disrupts a person's sleep cycle causing temporary intellectual lapses, and using stimulants for cramming gives them an adverse effect on their health.

Dangers of the New Monkeypox Virus

Thesis:

Monkeypox got its name in 1958, when it was detected in several laboratory apes. It is a zoonotic viral disease, which means it can be transmitted from animals to humans. It can also be transmitted from human to human.

Human monkeypox was first identified in 1970 in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) in a 9-month-old boy, in a region where smallpox (a close relative) had been eliminated in 1968.

Symptoms are similar to those seen, in the past, in smallpox patients, but clinically less severe (smallpox was eradicated worldwide in 1980). In 2003, the first Monkeypox outbreak outside Africa was reported in the United States and was associated with contact with infected pet prairie dogs.

Despite the name, most of the animals susceptible to contracting the disease, and then infecting humans, are rodents, such as the Gambian giant rat, dormice, or tree squirrel.

Argument:

Monkeypox is most commonly found in the rainforests of central and west Africa, where the animals that can carry the virus are native, and the disease is endemic. In these countries, it is increasingly appearing in urban areas.

Sometimes, it can also be found elsewhere, in people who may become infected after visiting these countries. Symptoms in monkeypox usually include fever, severe headache, muscle aches, back pain, low energy, swollen lymph nodes, and skin rashes or lesions.

The rash tends to appear on the face, palms, and soles of the feet. They can also be found in the mouth, genitals, and eyes.

Conclusion:

In most cases, monkeypox symptoms go away on their own within a few weeks, but, in between three and six percent of cases reported in endemic countries, it can lead to medical complications and even death. Newborns, children, and people with immune system deficiencies may be at risk for more severe symptoms and death from the disease.

Therefore you can reduce the risk of transmission by limiting contact with people suspected of having the disease, avoiding skin-to-skin contact and washing your hands frequently with soap.
